Rules & Terms of Service

Last updated: 2025

Purpose

Recruiter Rating exists to give job seekers a free, transparent place to share their recruiting experiences. Our goal is accountability — not harassment. This platform is for honest, factual accounts of the recruiting process.

What You Can Post

You may share your genuine, first-hand experience with a recruiting process. This includes timelines, communication quality, whether you were ghosted, and your overall impression of how the process was handled. Positive experiences are just as welcome as negative ones.

What Is Not Allowed

The following are strictly prohibited and will be removed: • Personal attacks, slurs, or harassment of any individual • False or fabricated information presented as fact • Sharing private contact information (personal phone numbers, personal email addresses, home addresses) • Content that is defamatory, threatening, or illegal • Spam, promotional content, or duplicate posts • Impersonating another person or company

Recruiter Privacy

To protect individual privacy, recruiter names are limited to first name and last initial only. Do not attempt to post full last names, personal social media profiles, or any other personally identifying information beyond what the form allows.

Accuracy

Post only what you personally experienced. Do not speculate, embellish, or post on behalf of someone else. If you are unsure about a detail, leave it out. Posts that appear fabricated or exaggerated may be removed.

No Legal Advice

Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. If you believe you have experienced illegal discrimination or retaliation in a hiring process, consult a qualified employment attorney.

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any post or comment that violates these rules, at our sole discretion, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in your posts being subject to approval before appearing publicly.

Liability

Recruiter Rating is a user-generated content platform. We do not verify the accuracy of posts and are not responsible for the content submitted by users. By posting, you affirm that your submission is truthful and does not violate anyone's rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
